Since we have a short week, I'd like to make this an easy blog.
Find another blog, website, or video (any online content will do) created by or for an AP Language and Composition class. Post the link and a review of it's content (maybe you want to compare it to what we do, or don't do, in our class).
Have fun surfing

A satirical look at taking that Multiple Choice test. I love the metaphor of getting beaten black and blue, then slapped around a little bit. Training for AP is painful, isn't it?

I think that we should do more of this in AP. If this was our english class, I think we'd all be very happy. Alas, we have too few students.

This web page has a bunch of blogs left from students in an AP English Language and Composition class taught by Bethany Gilmour. They talked about what activities they did in the class, and how much homework they received on a weekly basis. One of the students, Megan Dutill, explained how everyone in her class got in groups to discuss multiple-choice questions. I really think we should try to do some more multiple-choice questions, especially after today’s class.

This video was pretty much a dramatization of our class. It started off slow, but got better. It showed the students taking the AP test (Doomsday) as well.

I really liked Wanda's video. My favorite things were how the test causes nosebleeds, the girl cutting her wrists with the pencils, and the callous teacher. It is a very funny video.
I agree with Raven. I would like to discuss multiple-choice questions. I had some trouble with the test from last class.
